No simulation — will run programs the week leading up to competition.

Fall Events

  1. Thursday, September 24th — no regular skating for Intermediates and Seniors (see Autumn Leaves simulation below). Regular skating for Teen/Adult session, 7:00 – 7:45 p.m.
  2. Wednesday, September 30th — National Day for Truth and Reconciliation will be recognized. No regular skating due to the holiday.
  3. 2026 SS Autumn Leaves: October 1st – 4th @ Chilliwack. Simulation: Thursday, September 24th @ George Preston, 3:45 – 6:45 p.m. (FLOOD change: 6:45 – 7:00 p.m., then regular schedule continues, Teen/Adult 7:00 – 7:45 p.m.)
  4. Monday, October 12th is Thanksgiving Day. No skating that day.
  5. Saturday, October 31st is Halloween. Regular skating that day — wear your favourite costume (must be safe for skating).
  6. 2026 Skate Canada BC/YT Sectionals SS: November 5th – 8th @ Kelowna (no simulation — limited entries from LSC).
  7. Remembrance Day — Wednesday, November 11th will be a holiday. No skating that day.
  8. Thursday, November 12th — 3:45 – 6:45 p.m., Jingle Blades simulation (see below). (FLOOD change: 6:45 – 7:00 p.m., then regular schedule continues, Teen/Adult 7:00 – 7:45 p.m.)
  9. 2026 Jingle Blades Competition: November 19th – 22nd @ TBA. Simulation: Thursday, November 12th @ George Preston, 3:45 – 6:45 p.m.

December

  1. Friday, December 4th, 2026 — NO REGULAR MORNING (6:00 – 8:00 a.m.) SKATING due to Sportsplex BLACK OUT. Afternoon schedule still running as usual (3:30 – 6:30 p.m.).
  2. Saturday, December 5th, 2026 — NO REGULAR MORNING (7:00 – 10:45 a.m.) SKATING OR CLASSES due to George Preston BLACK OUT.

  3. Tuesday, January 19th, 2027 — NO CANSKATE (5:45 – 6:30 p.m.); PA Training running at this time.
  4. Friday, January 22nd, 2027 — Jr/JA session only, 3:30 – 4:15 p.m. (see BC Coast Regionals/WinterSkate simulation below).
  5. 2027 SS BC Coast Regionals/WinterSkate Competition: January 28th – 31st, 2027 @ Richmond Minoru. Simulation: Friday, January 22nd @ Sportsplex, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. (possible FLOOD change 4:15 – 4:30 p.m.)
  6. Monday, February 15th, 2027 — no regular skating today — Family Day!
  7. Tuesday, February 23rd, 2027 — no regular skating today. Star 1 Event, 3:45 – 6:45 p.m. + Simulation: 2027 SS Final, 7:00 – 8:45 p.m. (times may need to be adjusted — Senior A/B skaters to volunteer for the Star 1 Event)
  8. February 24th, 2027 — final day of regular Fall/Winter Season due to Ice Show practices beginning (see below for more information).
  9. 2027 SS STARSkate Final Competition: March 4th – 7th, 2027 @ Kelowna (no STARSkate simulation due to limited registrations — will cover this during Saturday Simulation Day).
  10. No March High Test Days — due to March Ice Show.
  11. Saturday, March 13th, 2027 is the last day of our Fall/Winter schedule. Reminder: Ice Show Practices begin February 25th.
